.Twin Cedar Lodge is a $2.5 million custom-crafted residence and is the talk of the town. Over 2 years in construction, this 7,000 sq. ft. residence features an additional 3,000 sq. ft. of covered decks offering every amenity and luxury conceivable.

The view from the living room is framed by the Lodge’s namesake, a 24ft. tall cedar mounted within the windows featuring a panoramic view of the Great Smoky Mountains. The hand-crafted staircase featuring cedar trunks and limbs is breathtaking, a one-of-a-kind architectural achievement. The residence incorporates antique décor, a locally crafted dining room table with seating for 22 and over 50 antique European stained-glass windows.

The floors are finished entirely in quality hardwood and tile. The walls are beautiful tongue-and-groove pine. The furnishings are luxurious, finished in leather and other high-quality fabrics. All living areas are spacious and comfortable, without resorting to less-than-ideal furnishings.

The Lodge sleeps 22 people, with additional sleeping space for 2 on a sleeper sofa. There are no bunk beds or otherwise “cramped” sleeping arrangements. Each bedroom of the 11 bedrooms have a private, fully equipped bath and a king bed. Every bedroom has access to the 4 floors of decks. 7 of the bedrooms are accessible to handicapped persons, either on the main level or by elevator. There is also a half bath available.

The Lodge’s amenities include an authentic tournament-quality slate pool table, perfectly leveled. The large swim spa has been a family favorite and the spa room includes a separate sauna. The media room features Bose surround sound and a 70″ video/television screen.

Twin Cedar Lodge is conveniently located off the Spur connecting Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, less than a 10 minute drive from both cities. In addition to the great views, amenities and luxurious accommodations, guests have access to the Chalet Village Owners Clubs, offering swimming pools and tennis courts, all within 1/4 mile of the lodge.

On a personal note, in the time our family lived in this residence, we were continually amazed that so many people pulled off the road to take pictures of this house. We would have a hard time counting the number of tours we have given visitors struck by the homes unique façade.

We have out-of-state friends who heard about the house from others who had visited Gatlinburg. My family and I are happy to offer to visitors to the beautiful East Tennessee what we believe is the most unique vacation rental available in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Skipping Stone is nestled on 3 acres, directly on the Little Pigeon River, Gatlinburg’s preeminent trout stream, with hundreds of feet of river frontage.

Aside from its “right smack there on the river” location, this luxurious lodge is, bar none, the absolute best of accommodations in the Smokies with over 4,200 square feet, 10′ ceilings, massive bedrooms (4 identical master suites with king-size beds) and spacious decks overlooking the river.

Luxuries and amenities of Skipping Stone include HDTV, extensive DVD collection, Playstation 2 and Wii on request, excellent kitchenware and dinnerware, stainless steel appliances, Direct TV with tons of premium movie channels, handmade furniture, fine fabrics, leathers and linens, top-end mattresses (3 of 4 with feather toppers, 1 without for those guests who are allergic). Oh What a View!

We just acquired this 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath chalet overlooking Gatlinburg and have completely re-decorated, remodeled and refurnished this home so that its comforts are as top-notch as its view of the mountains. With hardwood floors, wood-burning fireplace and luxurious furnishings, Mountain Patriot offers a romantic ambiance with modern comforts and entertainment for our guest. The living room and each bedroom feature flatscreen tvs with cable and a dvd library. The bedrooms offer king-size beds with high quality mattresses and each has it own private full bath and separate deck access.

For the kids and the kids-at-heart in your group there are two vintage arcade games to go along with all the other electronic distractions.

Mountain Patriot is decorated with antique artwork and decor from World War I and II. Also, the home features other Americana accents which compliments its antique wood-burning fireplace. The open kitchen offers new granite counter-tops and calphalon cookware. With both indoor and outdoor hot tubs, relaxing in a jetted tub is not dependent upon the weather. Comfortable outdoor deck located on each level take full advantage of this cabin fabulous views.
